Laura J. PAZEEZ

Doctoral Researcher in SME Resilience, Digital Transformation, and Strategic Management

About Me

Welcome!

I am a researcher and academic with a background that combines the humanities, business, and innovative research. My journey started with a BA in English, where I honed skills in analysing ideas, effective communication, and storytelling. Later, I earned an MBA in International Business,

Today, my research focuses on helping Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) adapt and thrive during crises. I explore how digital tools, entrepreneurial innovation, and sustainable practices can make SMEs more resilient. My work also re-imagines traditional models like Porter's value chain to address the specific challenges SMEs face, especially in Nigeria.

Why does this matter? Resilient SMEs are key to strong economies and inclusive communities. By providing strategies that blend technology, innovation, and sustainability, my research helps SMEs survive disruptions and grow stronger.

My goal is to bridge the gap between theory and practice, offering solutions that inspire policymakers, small business leaders, and practitioners. Together, we can create a future where SMEs unlock their potential, drive economic growth, and build resilient communities.

Thank you for being part of this journey to empower SMEs and shape a better future.
